Brass Nuts to DIN / ISO · Jamnagar, India
Hexagon high nut, height 1.5×d — machined in brass CW614N to standard and to your drawing.
Home / Products / Standard Parts / Brass Nuts / DIN 6330
A DIN 6330 nut is a hexagon high nut about 1.5×d tall — taller than a standard DIN 934 nut — giving greater thread engagement and load capacity. Brassland machines it from free-cutting brass CW614N (CuZn39Pb3) — or lead-free CW724R — to the standard and to your drawing, as part of our brass nut programme.

Dimensions in mm to DIN 6330. Widths across flats follow the current ISO series (M10/M12/M14 = 16/18/21 mm; older DIN editions used 17/19/22 mm). Sizes and tolerances are made to your drawing on request.
Applications
Typical applications for the Brass High Hex Nut (1.5×d) include high-load threaded joints needing extra engagement, soft or thin mating material, threaded-rod terminations, and machine-frame fixings. As all parts are made to order, sizes, threads, plating and certification are tailored to your specification.

Frequently asked questions
About 1.5× the thread diameter — e.g. 15 mm at M10 and 24 mm at M16, roughly double a standard hex nut.
The extra height engages more threads, increasing strength and spreading load — useful in soft materials or high-load joints.
No. DIN 6330 is a 1.5×d high nut; DIN 6334 is a ~3×d coupling nut for joining two rods.
The standard starts at M6; smaller high nuts are not part of DIN 6330.
