A DIN 1816 nut (Kreuzlochmutter) is a round nut with radial holes drilled into its cylindrical edge, tightened with a pin spanner engaging from the side; it is used for adjustable retention on shafts and spindles; it has a metric fine thread. Brassland machines it from free-cutting brass CW614N (CuZn39Pb3) to the standard and to your drawing, as part of our brass nuts programme.

Dimensions in mm to DIN 1816. dk = outside diameter, k = height, d4 = cross-hole diameter; the number of holes rises from 4 to 6 (to 8 at the largest sizes). Metric fine thread. Catalogue stock is usually steel/stainless; Brassland turns these in brass to order.
