DIN & ISO brass parts — machined to spec, made to order

Brass threaded inserts, hex nuts, standoffs, set screws and screw plugs — precision turned, milled and inspected on Brassland's Jamnagar shop floor to ISO 9001.

Brassland's standard brass parts catalogue covers the workhorse DIN, ISO, BS EN and ANSI components that engineers specify every day — brass threaded inserts for plastics, brass hex nuts (DIN 934 / ISO 4032), hex standoffs & spacers, grub / set screws (DIN 913–916), screw plugs (DIN 906 / 908 / 910) and PCB press-fit terminals. Every part is CNC bar-turned or Swiss-turned from certified free-machining brass and supplied with mill certificates.

Specify by part number from the categories below, or send a sample or drawing for a non-standard thread, length, knurl or finish — standard parts are routinely modified to order. Brassland ships to 40+ countries and is ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 certified.

Brassland brass threaded inserts assortment — heat-set, press-fit, knurled, expansion variants

Most Popular · DIN 16903

Brass Threaded Inserts

Heat-set, press-fit, and knurled brass inserts for plastic moulded components. DIN 16903 to BS EN ISO standards. Suitable for injection moulding, ultrasonic insertion, and press-fit into thermoplastics.

Tin-plated brass PCB terminal blocks with a central internal thread and multiple solder pins for through-hole board mounting

Electronics · Tin-Plated Brass

PCB Terminal Blocks

Threaded PCB terminal blocks machined from free-machining brass and tin-plated for solderability and corrosion resistance. A central internal thread accepts a screw or stud for busbar, ring-terminal and high-current connections, while the multiple solder legs through-hole solder into the board for a strong mechanical anchor and low-resistance path — used in power supplies, switchgear, EV-charging and battery-management assemblies.

🔧 Made to Order

All parts are manufactured on order — no old stock, no minimum shelf inventory. Every piece is freshly machined to current standards from certified CW617N brass rod.

📐 DIN / ISO / ANSI Standards

We manufacture to internationally recognised standards including DIN, ISO, BS EN, and ANSI. Dimensional inspection reports and material certificates available on request.

Standard parts aren't limited to metric. Brassland cuts internal and external threads in all major international forms — specify the thread callout on your enquiry, or send a sample and we'll identify it.

Metric (ISO)

Coarse and fine metric threads to ISO 261 / ISO 965 — M1.6 to M24+. The default for DIN/ISO nuts, inserts, standoffs and set screws.

BSP — G & R

British Standard Pipe to BS EN ISO 228-1 (parallel, G) and ISO 7-1 (taper, R/Rc) — G1/8 to G1 for plugs, port fittings and sealing applications.

NPT / NPTF

American tapered pipe thread to ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 — NPT and dry-seal NPTF for North-American hydraulic, pneumatic and gas connections.

UNC / UNF / UNEF

Unified inch threads to ASME B1.1 — #2 through 1", coarse and fine — plus BSW/BSF on request for legacy assemblies.

Standard parts are produced from certified free-machining brass. We also machine dezincification-resistant and low-lead grades for water and RoHS-strict applications — 19 alloys in total.

Brassland's standard brass parts go into assemblies across these sectors. Explore the industry pages for application-specific guidance and matched components.

What brass alloy are your standard parts made from?
Nuts, set screws and screw plugs are typically made from CW617N (CuZn40Pb2); threaded inserts, standoffs and small precision parts from CW614N (CuZn39Pb3). For potable-water or RoHS-strict use we machine dezincification-resistant, low-lead grades such as CW724R, C6802 and CW602N. See the materials library.
Do you hold stock, or is everything made to order?
All standard parts are made to order from certified brass rod — no ageing shelf stock. This means current standards, fresh material certificates and the freedom to adjust thread, length or finish on the same run. Lead time depends on quantity and finish; ask for a schedule at quotation.
Can you modify a standard part — thread, length, knurl or finish?
Yes. Standard catalogue parts are routinely modified — different thread pitch, special lengths, extra cross-holes, alternative knurls, or plating. Send a sample or a marked-up drawing and we quote the modification. Request a quote →
What surface finishes and plating are available?
Natural (as-machined) brass, nickel plating, tin and electro-tin plating, and passivation. Plating choice is usually driven by contact resistance, solderability or corrosion exposure — see surface finishes.
Are the parts RoHS and REACH compliant, and what certificates ship?
Yes. Brassland is ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certified and supplies parts compliant with EU RoHS 2 and REACH (SVHC disclosure on request). Each shipment is released against an EN 10204 Type 3.1 inspection certificate; Type 3.2 is available on request.
Which DIN and ISO standards do you cover?
Inserts to DIN 16903; hex nuts to DIN 934 / ISO 4032 and flange/cap/castle variants (DIN 6923 / 917 / 1587 / 935); set screws to DIN 913–916; screw plugs to DIN 906 / 908 / 910. Non-listed standards can be quoted to drawing. See the standards guide.
Can you cut BSP, NPT and UNC threads, not just metric?
Yes. We cut metric (ISO 261 / 965), BSP parallel and taper (BS EN ISO 228-1 / ISO 7-1, G & R), American taper pipe thread NPT / NPTF (ANSI/ASME B1.20.1), and Unified inch threads UNC / UNF / UNEF (ASME B1.1) — with BSW/BSF available for legacy parts. Give the thread callout on your enquiry or send a sample for identification.
