Precision Brass Components We Machine

Brassland is a precision brass-component manufacturer in Jamnagar, India, supplying turned and milled parts to pneumatic and hydraulic (fluid-power) OEMs in 40+ countries. We machine the brass parts that go inside fittings, valves and manifolds — connector and push-in bodies, valve component bodies and seats, manifold blocks and flow-control bodies — from CW617N and CW614N free-machining brass, in BSP (ISO 228 / ISO 7), NPT, metric, JIC (SAE J514) and SAE ORB threads. Every part is made to your drawing on Swiss-type and CNC machines and inspected in-house — we machine the components, not finished valves. Choosing the grade? See our industrial alloy guide →

Push-to-Connect & Connector Bodies
PneumaticCW617N
Push-in (collet) connector bodies, tube-fitting bodies, straight and elbow connectors and T-bodies for compressed-air and gas lines — machined to accept the collet, O-ring and release-sleeve parts you specify.
Brass pneumatic and hydraulic manifold block CNC-milled by Brassland
Manifold Blocks
Pneumatic / HydraulicCW617N
Multi-port pneumatic and hydraulic manifold blocks, CNC-milled from brass bar or forged blanks. Multiple port patterns in BSP, metric or SAE, with complex internal cross-drillings to your drawing.
Valve assembly whose internal brass components — bodies, seats and stems — are machined by Brassland
Brass Components Inside Valves
High precisionCW617N
The machined brass parts that go inside valve assemblies like the one shown — bodies, seats, spindles and stems, needle and check components and spool sleeves, turned and milled to your drawing with sealing faces finished to a fine Ra. We supply these precision brass components to valve makers; we do not manufacture complete or assembled valves.
Brass throttle, needle and flow-control fitting bodies machined by Brassland
Flow Control & Throttle Fittings
CW617NBSP / NPT / Metric
Needle-valve bodies, flow-restrictor bodies, quick-exhaust bodies and throttle/check component parts. Fine metering threads; Viton or PTFE seal grooves machined to your drawing.

Pneumatic & Hydraulic — Frequently Asked Questions

What pneumatic and hydraulic brass components can Brassland machine?
Connector and push-in (collet) bodies, manifold blocks, valve component bodies and seats, regulator and spool parts, flow-control and throttle bodies, unions, adaptors and banjo bodies for compressed-air and fluid-power circuits — all turned and milled to your drawing. We machine the brass components, not finished valves or assembled regulators.
Do you make finished valves or regulators?
No. We machine the brass component parts — bodies, seats, spool sleeves and housings — that valve and regulator makers assemble. Springs, seals, spools, collets and final assembly are completed by you or your assembler.
Which thread standards can you machine?
BSP parallel (BSPP / G, ISO 228-1), BSP taper (BSPT / R, ISO 7-1), NPT (ASME B1.20.1), metric (ISO 6149), JIC 37° flare (SAE J514) and SAE O-ring boss (SAE J1926). Specify the required standard on your drawing or enquiry.
What pressure ratings and tolerances can you hold?
We machine to your specified pressure rating; CW617N bodies are commonly used in hydraulic builds to around 250 bar and pneumatic service to about 25 bar, but the achievable rating is a function of your design and seals. Swiss-type turning typically holds about ±0.01 mm on critical seats and bores. Pressure/leak testing of sample lots is available on request; final pressure validation of the assembly is the assembler's responsibility.
Which brass alloys do you use?
CW617N and CW614N free-machining brass for most fittings and bodies, with CW602N (DZR) where dezincification resistance is needed and lead-free grades such as CW724R where wetted-surface lead limits apply. The grade is fixed on your approved drawing and confirmed on the EN 10204 mill certificate.
How are sealing faces and seats finished?
Sealing faces, cones and seats are turned and finished to the Ra and geometry on your drawing; O-ring, 37° flare, metal-to-metal and O-ring-boss sealing forms are all machined to spec, with seal grooves machined for the Viton, NBR or PTFE seals you specify.
What surface finishes and platings are available?
Parts ship as-machined in natural brass by default. Nickel, tin, electroless-nickel and chrome plating, passivation, and polished or tumbled finishes are available to your specification through qualified finishing partners; specify the finish and any thickness or salt-spray requirement at quotation.
Can you work from a sample if we don't have a CAD drawing?
Yes. Send a physical sample or a marked-up sketch and we will produce a manufacturing drawing for your written approval before cutting metal; the approved drawing then governs production and inspection.
What documentation do you provide with each shipment?
EN 10204 Type 3.1 mill certificates as standard (Type 3.2 third-party witnessed on request), a Certificate of Conformity and dimensional inspection reports, plus RoHS and REACH/SVHC declarations with commercial orders. Brassland is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
What are your minimum order quantity and lead times?
There is no strict minimum order quantity; first orders typically start from around 1,000 pieces, and we support high-volume OEM production. Typical lead time is 3–5 weeks from the approved drawing, with prototypes and samples available sooner. Quotations are issued within 24 hours.
