Brass Nuts to DIN / ISO · Jamnagar, India
Hexagon flange nut (integral washer base) — machined in brass CW614N to standard and to your drawing.
Home / Products / Standard Parts / Brass Nuts / DIN 6923
A DIN 6923 nut is a hexagon flange nut with an integrated, wider washer-like flange at its base that spreads clamping load over a larger area and improves resistance to loosening; it corresponds to ISO 4161. Brassland machines it from free-cutting brass CW614N (CuZn39Pb3) — or lead-free CW724R — to the standard and to your drawing, as part of our brass nut programme.

Applications
Typical applications for the Brass Hex Flange Nut include sheet-metal and bracket fastening without a loose washer, automotive and chassis assemblies, enclosure and panel mounting, and busbar / rack bonding. As all parts are made to order, sizes, threads, plating and certification are tailored to your specification.

Frequently asked questions
A DIN 6923 nut has an integral flange (a built-in washer) at its base; a DIN 934 nut does not. The flange spreads load and resists loosening.
No — the flange acts as the washer, spreading the clamping load over a wider bearing area.
Both forms exist. A serrated flange bites into the surface for extra vibration resistance; specify which you need at quotation.
15 mm — flange nuts use a smaller width across flats than standard hex nuts of the same thread.
