Power Distribution & Fusing
Anchor heavy supply cables, busbars and fuse leads directly to the board, carrying current that ordinary solder joints can't sustain.
Connectors & Terminals
Provide reusable, screw-clamped cable terminations on the PCB without separate connector housings. Electronics components →
Industrial & Control Boards
Solderless assembly speeds high-mix production and field service of control, metering and switchgear electronics. Switchgear components →
Power Supplies & Drivers
Tin-plated brass gives low-resistance, solderable contact for SMPS, LED drivers and motor-control boards.
Free-Cutting Brass Tin Plated
CuZn39Pb3 / CW614N
Machined from free-cutting brass for clean threads and tight tolerances, then tin-plated for solderability, conductivity and corrosion resistance — the standard specification for board-mount terminals and sockets. RoHS/REACH-compliant options available.
Sourcing These Parts From Brassland
| Minimum order | No strict MOQ. First orders typically start from around 1,000 pieces, and high-volume OEM schedules are supported once a layout is proven. |
|---|---|
| Prototypes and samples | Sample terminals and sockets are produced ahead of the series run so your board can be fitted and tested before volume is released. |
| Lead time | 3 to 5 weeks from an approved drawing. Prototypes and samples are sooner; repeat schedules are planned against your call-off. |
| Quotation turnaround | Typically within 24 hours of receiving a drawing, sample or board layout. |
| Documents per shipment | EN 10204 3.1 mill certificate for the brass, Certificate of Conformity and a dimensional inspection report. EN 10204 3.2 on request. |
| Certification | ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, certified by DQS. RoHS and REACH compliant, with SVHC disclosure on request. |
| Incoterms 2020 | DDP, FOB and CIF as standard; EXW or DAP on request. |
| Ports and HS codes | Mundra, Pipavav, Kandla and Nhava Sheva. HS codes 7415, 7412 and 7419 cover these brass components. |
Machined in our own plant
Brassland has machined brass components in Jamnagar, Gujarat since 2000 — 230+ people across 60,000+ sq ft, running 79+ CNC machines including 28+ Swiss-type sliding-head lathes from Tsugami and Star. CNC turning reaches Ø150 mm; Swiss-type bar capacity is Ø2–32 mm. Tolerances go to ±0.005 mm on Swiss-turned diameters and are typically ±0.01 mm on milled features. Swiss turning →
Paperwork that clears incoming inspection
Every shipment carries an EN 10204 3.1 mill certificate traceable to the brass heat, a Certificate of Conformity and a dimensional inspection report against the approved drawing. Type 3.2 witnessed certification, RoHS and REACH statements and SVHC disclosure are issued on request. Compliance centre →

Built to your drawing, not from a catalogue
These are made-to-order components. Send a drawing, sample or board layout with pin count, pitch, thread and plating; we confirm the geometry — or propose an equivalent — and fix tolerances and finish in writing at quotation. Start an RFQ →
Press-fit terminals use an array of pins pressed into plated through-holes on a 2.54 mm grid. Crimp sockets use a continuous thread around a single through-hole and suit board layouts that don't allow full-load pin arrays. Both fix cables and leads directly to the PCB; the choice depends on board space and current.
Standard press-fit terminals come in 9, 16, 25 and 36-pin layouts and crimp sockets in 8, 12, 16 and 20-pin layouts, all on 2.54 mm pitch. Custom pin counts and layouts can be produced to your board.
Parts are machined from CuZn39Pb3 free-cutting brass with tin plating as standard. UNC internal threads are available, along with custom thread sizes to requirement. DIN 82 diamond (RGE) and straight (RAA) knurl forms are offered on the round-head sockets.
Yes. Send a drawing, sample or board layout and we'll match the geometry or recommend an equivalent, including custom pin layouts, threads and plating, with samples before volume.
There is no strict minimum order quantity. First orders typically start from around 1,000 pieces, and high-volume OEM schedules are supported once the layout is proven. Tell us the quantity you actually need and we will quote that quantity.
