Questions & Answers
Working with Brassland.
What does Brassland manufacture?
Precision-machined brass, copper and aluminium components: threaded inserts for plastics, brass nuts, hex standoffs, set screws and screw plugs, plus custom CNC turned and milled parts made to customer drawings. Hot-forged brass components are supplied through qualified partner forges and finish-machined in-house. Everything is made to order — we machine the precision parts that go inside products, not finished valves.
What are your minimum order quantity and lead times?
There is no strict MOQ — first orders typically start from around 1,000 pieces, and we support high-volume OEM production. Typical lead time is 3–5 weeks from approved drawing, with prototypes and samples sooner. Quotations are issued within 24 hours.
Which certifications and documentation do you provide?
Brassland is certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 by DQS, and is a Government of India Star Export House. Shipments include EN 10204 Type 3.1 mill certificates, a Certificate of Conformity, dimensional inspection reports, and RoHS and REACH/SVHC declarations with commercial orders.
Which alloys can you machine?
All 19 grades in our materials library: free-machining and machining brass (C36000, CW614N, CW612N, CW607N, CW625N), forging brass (CW617N, C37700), DZR and lead-free grades for drinking water (CW602N, C35330, CW724R, C69300, C6802), structural and marine brass (CuZn37, CuZn40, CW510L, C46400), low-lead C27450, and copper (C11000, C14500) — plus aluminium. The grade is fixed on your approved drawing.
Do you export to my country?
Most likely — Brassland exports to 40+ countries including the UK, Germany, USA, Australia and UAE, on DDP, FOB or CIF terms with full export documentation. Tell us your destination at quotation and we confirm logistics and compliance requirements.
What tolerances can you hold?
Tolerances depend on feature and process: typically ±0.01 mm on milled features and down to ±0.005 mm on Swiss-turned diameters. Final tolerances are confirmed against your approved drawing; for safety-critical parts, application approval remains the buyer's responsibility.
Do you offer lead-free / RoHS-compliant brass?
Yes. We machine lead-free and DZR grades — CW724R and C69300 silicon brass, CW602N and C35330 DZR — meeting EU RoHS and, for potable-water and US markets, NSF/ANSI 372 and California AB 1953. RoHS and REACH/SVHC declarations are issued with commercial orders.
