We machine standoffs to your exact specification — any length, any thread combination, non-standard hex sizes, knurled bodies, grooves, or cross-holes. If you have a 2D drawing or even a sketch, we'll quote it.
Who makes these standoffs, on what machines, in what quantities, with what paperwork, and on which shipping terms. Everything a procurement engineer normally has to ask for by email.
Supplied as standard with brass hex standoff and spacer orders — nothing here has to be chased after the fact.

Male-Female standoffs have a threaded stud on one end and an internal thread on the other, so they stack board-to-board or board-to-chassis. Female-Female standoffs have internal threads both ends and are fixed with screws from both sides — the most common PCB spacer. Male-Male standoffs have studs both ends and mount between two tapped or through-hole panels.
Threads cover M2.5, M3, M4, M5, M6 and M8 ISO metric plus #4-40 to ¼-20 UNC, with across-flats of 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11 and 13 mm and lengths from 4 mm to 100 mm. Non-standard lengths and threads are machined to order.
Yes. Alongside ISO metric M2.5–M8 (class 6g/6H), we machine American inch UNC/UNF threads — #4-40, #6-32, #8-32, #10-32 and ¼-20 — to ASME B1.1 class 2A/2B. Mixed metric-and-inch combinations (e.g. a metric stud with an inch tapped hole) are made to order.
Brass is conductive (useful for grounding paths), non-magnetic, corrosion resistant and machines to tighter tolerances than nylon mouldings, while resisting thread stripping far better than plastic. Tin or nickel plating is available where solderability or a harder surface is needed — see the surface finishes guide.
Standoffs are machined from CW614N (CuZn39Pb3) brass per EN 12164, RoHS and REACH compliant, manufactured under ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. All production is made to order with mill certificates available.
There is no strict minimum order quantity. First orders typically start from around 1,000 pieces per size and configuration, which is where a sliding-head setup starts to make commercial sense, and high-volume OEM schedules run from the same machine cells. Prototype and sample quantities are quoted separately and made ahead of series production.
Quotations are typically returned within 24 hours of receiving your drawing or size list. From an approved drawing, series production runs 3–5 weeks; prototypes and sample quantities are usually available sooner. The confirmed date for your specific sizes and quantities is stated in writing on the quotation.
Every shipment is accompanied by an EN 10204 Type 3.1 mill certificate for the brass used, a Certificate of Conformity, and a dimensional inspection report against the approved drawing; Type 3.2 is available on request. Brassland is certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 by DQS, and standoffs are RoHS and REACH compliant with SVHC disclosure on request.
Brassland ships to more than 40 countries and holds Star Export House recognition from the Government of India. Incoterms 2020 DDP, FOB and CIF are quoted as standard, with EXW or DAP on request. Consignments move through Mundra, Pipavav, Kandla and Nhava Sheva, and brass standoffs and spacers are declared under HS headings 7415, 7412 or 7419 depending on the part.
Brassland manufactures to the published EN, ISO and ASTM specifications below. Mill certificates per EN 10204 Type 3.1 are supplied as standard; Type 3.2 (third-party witnessed) available on request. Open any link to verify the standard directly with the publishing body.
Last reviewed: June 2026. All Brassland products are made to order — please confirm grade, surface finish, plating and packaging requirements at quotation stage.
