Why Brass & Copper for Electronics

Material matched to the job — machinability, conductivity, and reliable plated contacts.

⚙️

Free-Machining at Volume

Brass cuts cleanly for fine threads, knurls and small diameters — economical for high-volume PCB hardware.

Conductivity Where Needed

C11000 copper for current-carrying contacts and terminals; brass for structural standoffs and housings.

🛡️

Plating & Solderability

Accepts tin, nickel, silver and gold plating for low-resistance contacts, corrosion protection and shelf life.

📐

Dimensional Stability

Tight tolerances held on Swiss turning — essential for press-fit, connector and contact-fit reliability.

Sourcing From a PCB Hardware Manufacturer in India

What buyers ask an electronics brass parts supplier before sending an RFQ — capability, order size, lead time, documentation and shipping terms, answered in one place.

Brassland has machined precision brass components in Jamnagar, Gujarat since 2000. Today around 230 people work across a 60,000+ sq ft plant running 79+ CNC machines, including 28+ Swiss-type sliding-head lathes (Tsugami and Star), and we ship to customers in more than 40 countries as a Star Export House recognised by the Government of India. Turning, milling and inspection are done in-house; where a part needs a forged blank we forge through qualified partner forges and finish-machine it here. We supply components — standoffs, inserts, pins, contacts and connector bodies — made to your drawing, not finished assemblies.
