A DIN 1587 nut is a high-form hexagon domed cap (acorn) nut with a closed dome that fully covers the bolt thread end for a clean, finished and protective appearance; it is the tall counterpart to the low DIN 917 cap nut. Brassland machines it from free-cutting brass CW614N (CuZn39Pb3) — or lead-free CW724R — to the standard and to your drawing, as part of our brass nut programme.
