The Full Insert Range.
The complete catalogue — every series we manufacture: self-tapping, heat-set, press-in, mould-in and press-fit PCB terminals in CuZn39Pb3 brass. Not sure which type you need? Start with the selection guide.

Inserts engineered to your resin, boss and load case
Every part here is machined to tight, repeatable tolerances and matched to how it installs — self-tapping flutes, heat-set knurls, mould-in undercuts or press-fit barbs. Share your substrate, boss dimensions and volume and we'll recommend the right family, thread and finish.

Consumer Electronics
Heat-set and press-in inserts give phones, wearables and accessories serviceable, reusable threads in thin thermoplastic housings — repeated screw cycles without stripping. Electronics components →
Power & PCB Hardware
Press-fit terminals and crimp sockets anchor cables, fuses and heavy leads directly to the board — tin-plated for solderability and a reliable, low-resistance contact. PCB terminals →
Automotive & EV
Mould-in and self-tapping inserts deliver high pull-out and torque-out in glass-filled resins for under-bonnet, interior and battery-module assemblies. Automotive components →
Industrial Equipment
Heavy-duty mould-in and hex-body inserts handle high-load, high-cycle joints in tough engineering plastics, including serviceable access panels and brackets.
3D-Printed Components
Heat-set inserts (FB/FBH/FBS) re-flow plastic around the knurls and into layer lines, converting weak printed threads into durable, reusable metal threads.
Appliances
Press-in and self-tapping inserts give cost-effective, high-volume assembly across thermoplastic and structural-foam parts in white goods and domestic products.
Free-Cutting Brass Standard
The specialist material behind every Brassland insert and PCB part. Excellent machinability for fine, consistent threads; strong corrosion resistance; good thermal conductivity for fast, even heat-set installation; and natural lubricity for smooth screw cycling — the best all-round balance of performance, cost and manufacturability.
Natural brass, nickel, zinc and tin. Tin plating is standard on press-fit PCB terminals and crimp sockets for solderability and conductivity. Engineered platings and RoHS/REACH-compliant options available for demanding corrosion classes.

Switching supplier is simple. Send a sample, drawing or existing part number and our engineers will match the geometry — thread, length, knurl or barb form, head style and installation method — or recommend an improved equivalent in CuZn39Pb3 brass, with prototyping and validation before you commit to volume.
Self-tapping inserts cut their own thread cold and work in thermosets and composites. Heat-set inserts are pressed into softened thermoplastic with a heated tip for the lowest boss stress and highest retention. Press-in inserts are pushed cold into a prepared hole for the simplest assembly. Mould-in inserts are over-moulded in the tool for the highest retention of all. Share your substrate, boss size and volume and we'll recommend the right one.
They are solderless, board-mount brass parts that fix directly to a circuit board so cables, fuses and heavy leads can be anchored to the PCB. Press-fit terminals use pin arrays on a 2.54 mm pitch; crimp sockets use a continuous thread for layouts that don't allow full-load pins. Both are tin-plated CuZn39Pb3 and available with UNC threads or custom layouts.
Standard metric coverage runs M1.6 to M12, with UNC and imperial equivalents available. PCB terminals and sockets follow DIN 82 knurl forms where applicable. Custom thread sizes, lengths and pin layouts can be engineered for specific applications.
Yes — heat-set inserts (models FB, FBH, FBS, FBHS) are the standard solution for FDM and SLS parts. The heated insert re-flows the plastic around its knurls and into the layer structure, turning weak printed threads into durable, reusable metal threads.
Yes. Provide a sample, drawing or part number and we can match the geometry or recommend an improved equivalent, including custom threads, knurls, head styles and pin layouts, backed by prototyping and validation before volume.
In most cases, yes. Provide the brand, part number or a physical sample and our applications team will identify the closest Brassland equivalent — matching thread, length, knurl or barb geometry, head style and installation method — and confirm fit against your boss design before production.
