A DIN 908 screw plug is a hexagon-socket sealing plug with a collar and a cylindrical (straight) thread, sealed against the port face with a sealing ring to DIN 7603; the recessed internal hex gives a flush, low-profile closure. Brassland machines it from free-cutting brass CW614N (CuZn39Pb3) — or lead-free CW724R — to the standard and to your drawing, as part of our brass screw-plug programme.

How does a DIN 908 plug seal?

Its cylindrical thread does not seal by itself; a sealing ring to DIN 7603 is fitted under the collar to seal against the port face.

What is the difference between DIN 908 and DIN 910?

DIN 908 has an internal hexagon socket (flush, low-profile); DIN 910 has an external hexagon head that allows higher tightening torque. Both use a collar and a DIN 7603 sealing ring.

What thread series does DIN 908 use?
