Home / Products / Standard Parts / Set Screws / DIN 553

A DIN 553 set screw is a headless slotted grub screw with a sharp cone point that bites into the mating surface for high holding power; it is the slotted-drive equivalent of the hex-socket DIN 914 and corresponds to ISO 7434. Brassland machines it from free-cutting brass CW617N (CuZn40Pb2) to the standard and to your drawing, as part of our set screws programme.
