Home / Products / Standard Parts / Set Screws / DIN 438
A DIN 438 set screw is a headless slotted grub screw with a cup point — a recessed, sharp-edged ring — that bites into a plain shaft for permanent location; it is the slotted-drive equivalent of the hex-socket DIN 916 and corresponds to ISO 7436. Brassland machines it from free-cutting brass CW617N (CuZn40Pb2) to the standard and to your drawing, as part of our set screws programme.
